These solid bronze bricks, mark the five-year anniversary of London’s largest Bronze Age hoard found on prehistoric Thames-side marshland in Havering.
This Bronze Age hoard revealed the ancient status of London’s River Thames, where bronze artefacts were once buried as votive offerings to the river.
Sand cast in South East London by Steve Whitton’s foundry, Whitton Castings. Steve has been working in the foundry industry for over 40 years, establishing his own company in 1987, he employs Nathan who’s worked alongside him for over 12 years, learning the trade to continue this traditional craft for future generations in the capital.
