BISHOPSGATE GOODS YARD

If you’re ever in Shoreditch have a look through the remains of the nineteenth century arched brick walls of Bishopsgate Goods Yard which once stored and transferred large volumes of goods from rail to road. Before the yard and station existed, brick quarries, which gave Brick Lane its name, sat on this historic site.
